Additional rigidity
What is lamination?
In printing, lamination is a process that involves applying a plastic film to the surface of your printed matter. Lamination gives your cards and packaging additional protection and rigidity, thus extending their durability. Depending on the type of lamination chosen, this process also aims to play with textures and improve the visual and tactile appearance of your printed matter.
Why film?
Lamination provides additional protection against abrasion, tearing, water stains, and grease. Applied to all materials handled, such as personalized playing cards, business cards, or brochure covers, lamination is essential for extending their lifespan.
Beyond its protective function, lamination enhances the visual and tactile appearance of your communication media. Whether it's gloss, which accentuates bright colors, matte and soft touch, which offer a soft and pleasant feel, or sandblasted and leather-grain finishes, which stand out from the crowd, lamination gives your printed matter a sophisticated look.

Lamination does not make cards indestructible. The lifespan of cards and lamination may be affected by their conditions of use.
By default, your cards are laminated on both sides. If you only want to laminate one side of your cards, we invite you to select the lamination of your choice in the calculator and indicate it in the comments when placing your order.

for which media?
Regularly handled and subject to premature wear, personalized playing cards and packaging of all kinds are particularly suited to lamination. Much more versatile than it seems, this plastic film can be applied to all your printing materials.
